On the Clock Report: July 21, 2008

A Man's Supposed Past Will Never Define His Legacy

Miami, FL. – In the past couple of weeks that has passed certain photos were posted on mediatakeout.com exhibiting Rick Ross as an apparent correctional officer. Oddly enough, Trick Daddy has come forth and taken responsibility for the posted photo all according to mediatakeout.com staff members. The question now is, will this insinuate a sudden controversy and cause havoc amongst the Miami movement? At present time, we still stand by our initial report; The Boss was never a correctional officer.

24hourhiphop.com recently scanned through all our community users' comments and would have to disagree with certain individuals. Whether or not Ross was a CO or not, his past should not reflect his legacy, his lyrics, his music, his certifiable hits. Ever since his debut, he has been providing fans with chart toppers, club joints that have given the people something to bump to. Don't get us wrong, we are not trying to provide you a bio, we are describing his trill history. With that being said, this is only a phase in his long prosperous music career, dedicated fans will understand and know the truth. No photoshoped picture can change his credibility.

At press time, his third studio LP, 'Deeper than Rap,' will be released sometime this summer, as well as Carol City Cartel's debut album. Be on the lookout for new material from both Ross and Triple C in the next upcoming month.

Let's be honest for a second here, that photo looks obviously photoshoped. Haters will do anything to discredit anybody from what they initially accomplished in life. Rick Ross bought Miami back to the forefront where many people have failed, hence why he was practically featured in almost every hit song of 2007 and 2008.

DMX Arrested for Using Counterfeit ID

Phoenix, AZ – In yet another unsurprising apprehension for the ex-Ruff Ryder artist, another day in the life of DMX's police files. However, this marks his fourth arrest within the same month. This one stems from an incident that occurred in April.

DMX was arrested in Phoenix's Arizona Metrocenter Mall on Saturday (July 19) on suspicion of using a fake ID in a Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. Sometime in April, X went to the clinic to undergo a nine hour treatment. Upon checking out, sources say he used a false name of "Troy Jones," a fake Social Security number, a non-existent address in Yonkers, New York, and false emergency contact information of a made-up girlfriend in the name of "Jennifer Martinez." NEWS: On the Clock Report: July 21, 2008

Maricopa County Sheriff, Joe Arapaio initiated the fourth arrest for X and left this statement to the media concerning his circumstance.

"He seems to have a long record and nothing ever happens. I am concerned that these judges keep letting him get out. I don't know how many times he has to be booked into jail. He keeps committing all these violations and keeps getting out and continues to violate the law. He has lived a charmed life."

At press time, X is facing charges of identity theft in what authorities said was an attempt to allude $7,500 in medical bills. After his arrest, he was placed into isolation for his own personal safety on Sunday (July 20) at the Towers Jail, where he is being held on $60,000 bond.

I honestly have no more comments for this man. How the hell do you go from a top selling artist to a habitual lawbreaker? And why does he keep going back to Arizona knowing that he got problems in that state. He need to go back to NY.

50 Cent to be Allowed to go on Vacation with Son

Central Islip, NY – In the latest non-music related news concerning the leader of the G-Unit camp, 50 Cent was recently requested to pass a mandatory court-ordered drug test before he would be allowed to take his 11-year old son, Marquise Jackson, on a vacation trip in the following month.

Ironically, Fif passed his required drug test and is now allowed to take his son on vacation. His son Marquise lives with his mother, Shaniqua Tompkins in Long Island.

On the real, it's quite obvious he burnt down his baby mama's house to claim insurance, plus the lady tried getting more money from him in child support.
